Yesterday, my Mom and I went to the Brimfield Antique Show, the largest antique show and flea market in New England. We stood in traffic for about almost two hours, inching our way to find parking and then walked around for 4 hours with no end in sight. It was incredibly overwhelming but I managed to find a tent full of antique spools of all different sizes that were once used in textile mills all over New England. It was such a happy find since I've been looking for props like these to show off my garland.
In a few short hours I am heading southwest to my brothers graduation with my entire family-- it will be a weekend full of photo opps, I'm sure. How about you? What are your plans for what looks like it will be a lovely weekend? I think I see a bike ride in my future.
It's going to be really nice in Chicago this weekend, too! PERFECT biking weather. That antique show sounds intense! Sometimes when shows like that get too big my brain shuts down and I can't look at anything knowing I won't be able to see everything.
