Modish is hosting an Earth Day giveaway featuring a bundle of artists and craftsman you can find on cosa verde, a website dedicated to creating a venue where buyers can shop for well crafted, sustainably produced items directly from independent artists. They even donate 10% of all fees to charities like Doctors Without Borders, The Hunger Project and Accion International. I've been so thrilled with cosa verde and I'm proud to say that I'm not only a seller on their site but i'm also participating in this Earth Day giveway on modish!
This year, a total of 50 items are up for grabs (worth over $1600) separated into 3 different categories. Leave a comment about specific items, why you love them along with why it's eco-friendly. You can leave as many comments as you like and don't forget to blog/facebook/tweet about the contest in order to acquire bonus entries... got to love it.
If you have a second and haven't as of yet, pay cosa verde a visit and check out all the different ways you can shop for handmade goods... by organic, vegan, reusable, repurposed, conflict-free, cruelty-free and of course by the item itself. If you're a already selling things online and looking for more venues, this is a great option and for every new shop opened cosa verde plants ten trees through Trees for the Future.
My posting over the next ten days might be bit stretched as I'm vacationing in the UK but I'll do my best!
