I'm in the process of finding an apartment in Brooklyn which has led to multiple visits into the big city meeting with landlords, lease-holders and brokers in hopes to find a decent place to set up shop before my first semester begins in September. Even though I have a few more weeks to snatch something up I feel like the absence of a living space is a huge weight on my shoulders. Next time I venture underground into the subway I'm going to try to feel like Natsumi in this daily levitation photograph. I wonder how many times she had to leap through the turnstile before getting it right.
