jars everywhere

Tonight... a canning party! We haven't checked to see what's super plentiful right now but my guess is we'll be enjoying a Peach preserves tonight, with touch of raspberries and blackberries depending on what we find tomorrow morning at the farm stands. Time to break in the new canning pot!

If you're into canning or better yet, would like to learn, pick up a copy of one of Ashley English's books from the Homemade Living Series, Canning & Preserving with Ashley English. I'm thinking of trying a recipe I found in her book last night... peach and lavender butter!
